Remove the Black Streaks From Your Evans Roof
Those black streaks running down so many Evans roofs aren't dirt. They're Gloeocapsa magma, an algae that feeds on the limestone filler in asphalt shingles and spreads fastest on shaded, humid roofs, which describes most of Evans. Left alone, it holds moisture against the shingles and can shorten the life of the roof.
Rooted Exterior Solutions cleans roofs with a soft wash only. No high pressure touches your shingles. A cleaning solution kills the algae, lichen and moss at the root, then rinses away, and every roof cleaning comes with a 3-year guarantee.
Why Evans HOAs Care About Roof Streaks
Many Evans communities, including Champions Retreat, Riverwood Plantation, West Lake and Jones Creek, have appearance standards, and a streaked roof is one of the first things that gets noticed. A soft wash restores the roof's color without the damage and warranty problems that come with pressure washing shingles.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will roof cleaning damage my shingles?
No. We never use high pressure on a roof. Soft washing is the method shingle manufacturers recommend for removing algae.
How long does a roof cleaning last in Evans?
Every soft wash roof cleaning comes with a 3-year guarantee. How long it stays clean beyond that depends on shade and tree cover.
Is roof cleaning safe for my plants?
Yes. We pre-wet plant beds before we start and rinse them again during and after the cleaning.
Can you do my roof and house wash the same day?
Yes. Most Evans customers bundle the roof, house wash and gutter faces into one visit, and bundled services get a bundle service discount.
